Nondi Adventures Tanzania

The Kilimanjaro National Park is located 300 kilometres south of the equator. The park covers the entire Kilimanjaro, also visible is the mountain whale border at 2700 meters above sea level

A variety of animals can be found in the park. Above the tree line, one often encounters the Hyim of the Kilimanjaro tree, the gray duiker and rodents. The bushbuck and the red duiker appear in places over the tree line. Buffaloes are found in the forest and occasionally in moorland and prairie.
